  1. I created this database to record my business mileage for tax purposes. 
  2.  
  3. 1)  Create a NEW RECORD for each day you use your car for
  4.      business.
  5.  
  6. 2)  Enter the date in MM/DD/YY format, then tab and enter your
  7.      starting mileage for  that day. Tab again  and enter your ending
  8.      mileage.  No commas are required.
  9.  
  10. 3)  Use the script to calculate your tax deduction (or type
  11.      Command-2).  The rate used for the calculation is 27.5¢ per
  12.      mile.
  13.  
  14. 4)  To modify the MAINTENANCE REMINDER    , enter DEFINE FIELDS...,
  15.      select the field and re-enter the mileage that is applicable to
  16.      your car.
  17.  
  18. 5)  Don't forget to delete the two records I entered as examples.
  19.  
  20. If you use this database, spend some of your time helping another with his Mac.
